My favorite character of Social Work. EDITH ABBOTT, Was born on September 26, 1876, she is Pioneer of social work, I like because In 1908, after teaching economics at Wellesley, she became assistant to Sophonisba Preston Breckinridge, director of social research in the research department of the Chicago School of Civic Education and Philanthropy (later incorporated as part of the University of Chicago) where he contributed to the studies of juvenile delinquents and school dropouts, also created studies on women in industry and problems in the penal system . I admire her a lot because she has done great Works, for example emphasized the State's responsibility in social problems, the importance of public welfare management, the social aspects of legislation and the need for a more humane social welfare system. My favorite class  My favorite class is Social History of Chile, it is taught by Daniel Fauré and i think it is my favorite until now because i really enjoy the contents from it and i can also feel the passion that the teacher feels towards the subjects that he is teaching us. Some of the topics that we learnt through the semester were the forms of resistance towards the oppression of wage labour and the authorities that wanted to force them to change their own culture and attitudes in order to adapt them towards the idea of society that the elites wanted them to have. We were also taught the ways that people fought against Pinochet's dictatorship and the forms of resistance towards it and how social organizations had a really important role on the fight against the dictatorship. This professional shows the Incan ruins of Macchu Picchu in Perú, near to the amazonic jungle an Bolivia. I like this photo because I will be travelling in January with my friends for two weeks, this is the first time that  I go to this place. Will first visit Arica, next Tacna and finally Cuzco and I am really very touched by this new adventure. Also I Will Travel to Bolivia, more specifically to Copacabana in where I Will stay for five day’s, I am much anxious because never had being ther and I like known new places. 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 My Favorite movie 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 Wonder Woman is my favourite movie, I like it because projects an image of a empowered women, where they are the protagonist, evidence an woman independent and courageous. I like the idea because in this society is necessary   start  thinking different, because we are in a society whit male violence. Personally i love so much the action scenes, in fact is movie have a lot of this kind of scenes and is for that I think that i could enjoy this movie. Also other importante kind of scenes for my opinion is the romantic scenes. That one again were made really well in the trouble between the principals characters. Finally I should say that is a good movie to see with own boyfriends because the principal actors represent very well the love that they have to each other and this is important becuase own boyfriends and you would not get borring while you watch the movie thanks to the action scenes for him and the romantic...

Cellphone. Hello guys!, I have a question for you… Have you ever stopped to think about the importants of cellphones? Well, I did. In first place all of us know what is a cellphone actually, but in its beginning its unic funcion was call to other people, and then this device has been changed over time untill the smartphone that we have now, that have infinities of funcions like call to other persons (obviously) to to be the center of our lifes. Actually I have a Iphone 6 that I got for one year ago, and I use it everytime, for everything! Hahaha…  Like read, listen music, watch videos or talk with Friends. The cellphone is absolutly amazing, because make our lives easier in many ways that i can’t imaging my life without this piece of technology. See you next time, cheers!!

My Decision... Hello everyone, today I gonna talk about the most important decision in my life, wich is about my career; Social Work. Firstly when I was kid I wanted to be detective, then stylist and also tennis player. After that when I grew up, more exactly in the high school, i had to start to thinking about my real future, so i decided to be an nutritionist, but  then i saw that really this career didn´t like to me because  i really hate the biology. Finilly I decided to be social worker… Why?, because this career rise differents caracteristics that are so important to me, like the conection with other people and i fell a real call to do this activity. Now in the university i have had subjects that I have approached my career and so for that reason in the future i would like to have a job where i should work with children to protect their entitlements. Thats all, good vibes!!!!.

My full name is Camila Carvacho. I’m Camila, a single Chilean woman, I’m 20 years-old and I live in Santiago. I’m from Chile and I was born on June 04 1997. We’re a four-member family, my parents plus my brother and I.  I studied in the school in commune of Recoleta, I graduated in 2015, then I did one year of  preuniversitario and this year I entered to study Social Work at University of Chile. I like a lot what I do. In my free time I like watching movies, taking a nap and go party whit my friend´ s. Have an group of friend´s much motivated and feel planned travel a Machu picchu in holiday.
